Job summary

Congruex is seeking a Fleet Field Technician to perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on fleet vehicles and construction equipment in the field. You will coordinate field service activities, respond to equipment breakdowns, and deliver timely maintenance solutions that minimize downtime.

As a Fleet Field Technician, you will work with Congruex field construction teams and fleet operations to improve equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record; CDL preferred.
• Must be qualified to perform DOT inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on construction equipment, utility trucks, trailers, and fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, air conditioning systems, brake systems, and other mechanical components.
• Troubleshoot wiring systems for utility booms, chassis, and engine systems using wiring schematics and diagnostic equipment.
• Perform welding, fabrication, tire replacement, hydraulic repairs, and other field maintenance activities during emergency breakdowns.
• Complete maintenance documentation accurately and travel between facilities and project sites to support field operations.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards, DOT requirements, and operational procedures.
• Additional responsibilities within functional scope based on business needs.
