Job summary

Integrity Fire Safety Services is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Projects Technician in Basalt, Colorado. You will install, assemble, and test water-based fire protection systems for new construction or retrofit projects, ensuring code compliance and quality workmanship.

You will read blueprints, coordinate with other trades, and support project managers to meet schedules while traveling to multiple sites as required. A strong mechanical aptitude and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of fire sprinkler installation experience preferred.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification desirable.
• NICET certification in Water-Based Systems Layout a plus.
• State-issued sprinkler fitter license may be required by jurisdiction.
• Knowledge of NFPA 13 and applicable local codes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction and shop drawings.
• Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble fire sprinkler piping, valves, hangers, fittings, and related components per NFPA 13 and project specs.
• Cut, thread, and groove piping using appropriate tools.
• Mount, hang, and secure pipe and equipment per engineered drawings.
• Assist in hydrostatic testing and acceptance testing; verify system readiness.
• Document test results and deficiencies for project records.
• Read blueprints and coordinate work with other trades to maintain productivity.
• Report progress and material needs to supervisors and project managers.
• Maintain OSHA safety procedures and ensure high-quality workmanship.
