Job summary

Intrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLC is seeking a Fire Equipment Technician to test, inspect, repair, maintain and recertify SCBA units, Halon systems, air monitors, hoses, nozzles, and related fire equipment. The role includes servicing compressors, drivers and generators, and ensuring all gear meets NFPA and manufacturer specifications.

Travel to deployment locations is required. Ideal candidates have a HS Diploma or equivalent and 5 years of fire/rescue equipment maintenance experience, with

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required with 5 years related experience preferred.
• Experience with fire/rescue equipment maintenance and testing preferred.
• Trained to operate halon recovery and recycle systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test, inspect, repair, maintain and certify SCBA units and related equipment.
• Inspect and service Halon recovery and recycle systems, air monitors, compressors and refill stations.
• Perform hydrostatic testing and recertification of cylinders; conduct preventive maintenance on gear.
• Ensure readiness of all equipment for deployment and return to service.
