Job summary

Firematic is seeking a Rescue Solutions Specialist to serve as the technical expert for Hurst-Jaws of Life rescue tools and fire equipment across your territory in the United States. You will inspect, diagnose, repair, and rebuild hydraulic and battery-powered rescue equipment, building trust with first responders through hands-on mechanical excellence.

Qualifications

• Exceptional mechanical aptitude and ability to disassemble and rebuild complex equipment.
• Background in equipment service, automotive, diesel, or industrial maintenance.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and mechanical systems with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable learning new technologies, including battery-powered rescue systems and electronic diagnostics.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with first responders.
• Self-starter thriving in a field-based, relationship-driven role.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, testing, repairs, and complete rebuilds on hydraulic and battery-powered rescue tools.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and perform repairs in field or shop.
• Disassemble, replace worn components, rebuild assemblies, and restore tools to manufacturer specs.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures on-site and provide timely technical solutions.
• Ensure tools meet safety and performance standards before return to service.
• Maintain accurate service records and repair reports.
