Job summary

MARS Solutions Group in Lake Oswego, OR, seeks an experienced Fire Alarm Inspector to join a field inspection team. You will inspect, test, and document fire alarm and life-safety systems, with opportunities to develop through NICET certifications and on-the-job training.

The role involves physical fieldwork, travel within the Portland metro area, occasional overnight stays, and mileage reimbursement. A company vehicle is provided after conversion to direct employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be physically capable of fieldwork and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
• Open to pursuing industry certifications and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test fire alarm devices per procedures.
• Learn to operate fire alarm control panels.
• Record inspection results using mobile apps.
• Identify equipment issues and communicate findings.
• Climb ladders and access above-ceiling areas as needed.
• Maintain attendance and complete inspections on schedule.
