Job summary

DCOMM has an opening for a proactive field technician who prefers being outside and enjoys solving problems. You will install high-speed internet, troubleshoot service issues, and work with fiber optics, coax, ladders, and customer equipment to keep people connected.

No experience? That’s okay. We’ll teach you the technical skills; you bring work ethic and willingness to learn, and you can grow into leadership roles over time.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to climb ladders (up to 28 feet).
• Comfortable working outside in the Texas weather.
• Able to lift, carry, and move equipment throughout the day.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Install high-speed internet for customers.
• Track down and fix service issues to restore connectivity.
• Work with fiber optics, coax cable, ladders, tools, and customer equipment.
• By day’s end, be able to point at something and say, “I built that.”
