Job summary

DCOMM is seeking motivated technicians to install high‑speed internet and maintain broadband networks that keep communities connected. You’ll work outdoors, use fiber optics and coax, climb ladders, and resolve various service issues with customers daily.

No prior experience required; we provide paid training, a company vehicle, tools, uniforms, safety gear, ongoing coaching, and opportunities to grow into leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to climb ladders up to 28 feet.
• Comfortable working outside in varying Texas weather.
• Able to lift, carry, and move equipment throughout the day.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• No two days are exactly alike as you install high‑speed internet.
• Track down service issues and fix them.
• Work with fiber optics, coax, ladders, tools, and customers to solve problems.
• By day’s end, you’ll be able to point at something and say, “I built that.”

What You'll Actually Be Doing

No two days are exactly alike.

One day you'll be installing high-speed internet.

The next you'll be tracking down a service issue and fixing it.

You'll work with fiber optics, coax cable, ladders, tools, technology, and customers who are counting on you to solve their problem.

By the end of the day, you'll be able to point at something and say…

"I built that."
