Job summary

Socket Fiber is seeking a Residential Sales Representative to join our local field team in the St. Louis, Missouri area. You’ll engage homeowners door-to-door, educate them about Socket’s fiber internet, and close sales to drive growth while earning base pay plus uncapped commissions.

No traditional telecom sales background is required—we train energetic, coachable individuals. Expect evening hours, occasional Saturdays, and a role that rewards performance and community impact.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Customer-facing or field sales experience.
• Familiarity with internet/telecom is a plus—but not required.
• Competitive spirit and desire to succeed in a goal-driven role.

Responsibilities

• Walk neighborhoods and talk with residents about switching to Socket Fiber.
• Build rapport quickly and create a great first impression.
• Use tools and training to explain our services and answer questions.
• Close sales and log activity in our CRM system.
• Follow up with leads and coordinate with the install team.
• Share field insights with the team to improve outreach strategies.
• Represent Socket professionally and follow all safety guidelines.
