The candidate will develop detailed technical documentation and collaborate with various teams to ensure product performance. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and 0-3 years of experience in design engineering are required. Qualifications

• Minimum of 0-3 years’ experience in a design engineering role, or equivalent education and experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of industrial/utility-grade power equipment and applications.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of all technical documents.
• Collaborate with Support Services for integrated design solutions.
• Develop product BOMs and design drawings based on customer requirements.
• Assist in evaluating the current state of fielded products.
• Work with teams to align engineering deliverables with project schedules.
• Coordinate external design resources to align with Division standards.
• Recommend and implement design improvements.
• Serve as project leader for design and prototype development.
• Resolve design or component issues with vendors.
• Travel for engineering support as necessary.
• Develop U.S. manufactured components.
• Recommend product enhancements for reliability.
