Qualifications
Minimum of 0-3 years’ experience in a design engineering role, or equivalent education and experience.
Intermediate knowledge of industrial/utility-grade power equipment and applications.
Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings.
Responsibilities
Oversee the preparation of all technical documents.
Collaborate with Support Services for integrated design solutions.
Develop product BOMs and design drawings based on customer requirements.
Assist in evaluating the current state of fielded products.
Work with teams to align engineering deliverables with project schedules.
Coordinate external design resources to align with Division standards.
Recommend and implement design improvements.
Serve as project leader for design and prototype development.
Resolve design or component issues with vendors.
Travel for engineering support as necessary.
Develop U.S. manufactured components.
Recommend product enhancements for reliability.
