Job summary

Turner & Townsend in the United States seeks a Facilities Assessment Consultant to perform condition assessments of building systems, with a primary focus on electrical and low voltage systems. You will travel with a team to inspect facilities ranging from manufacturing plants to hospitals, airports and offices.

You will review client drawings, perform visual inspections, document findings using tablets, and develop replacement cost estimates using CBRE Turner & Townsend libraries.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Facility Management, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in facility condition assessments, operations, or related fields.
• Knowledge of building codes and standards for existing facilities; experience with cost estimates.

Responsibilities

• Review client documentation prior to and during inspections.
• Perform visual inspections of building systems including electrical and low voltage.
• Document findings with photographs and in asset management software.
• Develop replacement cost estimates using CBRE Turner & Townsend libraries.
• Travel 50–70% within the U.S. and occasionally internationally.
