Job summary

Walsh Infrastructure Management LLC is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician for the FDOT Rest Areas in District 5, Brevard County, FL. You will perform physical labor on construction sites, operate hand and power tools, and assist with site preparation and debris removal. This role offers exposure to diverse projects across the U.S.

through our Building, Transportation, and Water Divisions. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in varying weather, and comply with all safety

Qualifications

• 1 year verifiable construction or maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor.
• Comfort with working at heights and in adverse weather.
• Ability to follow safety policies and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Must be able to use hand and power tools as directed.

Responsibilities

• Ability to perform tasks including physical labor as instructed by supervisor.
• Ability to work with crew members and operate a variety of hand and power tools including drills, hammers, and other tools as directed by management.
• Clean and prepare sites as needed, including erecting scaffolding, removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials, and digging trenches.
• Load and unload supplies around the worksite manually and with the use of equipment.
