Job summary

Walsh Infrastructure Management LLC is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician for the FDOT Rest Areas in District 5, in Brevard County, FL. The role involves performing physical labor on construction sites and may operate hand and power tools as needed; site preparation and assisting with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1 year of verifiable construction experience preferred
• Must be able to climb and maintain balance on a ladder
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may work in adverse weather conditions
• Must comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors

Responsibilities

• Perform physical labor as instructed by supervisor
• Operate hand and power tools (drills, hammers, and other tools) as directed
• Clean and prepare sites, erect scaffolding, dispose of debris, and dig trenches as needed
• Load and unload supplies on site manually and with equipment
