Job summary

Laundry-4U, a Houston-based laundromat operator, seeks a dependable Maintenance & Facilities Technician to service multiple locations and support new site buildouts. The role covers everyday maintenance, repairs, and setting up new stores, with opportunities to contribute across a growing portfolio.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience across trades, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance, construction, or related trades preferred.
• Comfort with using a wide range of tools and learning new tasks.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities across multiple locations.
• Reliable transportation to travel between Houston-area locations.
• Ability to perform physical labor and lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support buildout and setup of new laundromat locations, including framing, electrical, drywall, fixtures, and flooring.
• Perform general maintenance and repairs to keep stores safe and operational.
• Handle restroom repairs including plumbing fixtures, toilets, sinks, and drains.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on commercial washers/dryers and escalate issues.
• Perform basic HVAC checks and flag needs for licensed technicians.
• Paint, patch, and perform cosmetic upkeep across locations.
• Respond to maintenance needs across multiple sites and manage time effectively.
• Take on additional tasks as directed by management.
