Job summary

EZARC seeks a Fabrication Field Foreman to lead our Utah fabrication crews on field installs and in-shop welding. You’ll own daily crew assignments, ensure safety, and drive on-time field completion while coordinating with Project Managers and shop staff.

You will alternate between field leadership and shop fitting/welding to prep for upcoming jobs, ensuring accuracy and quality in every step.

Qualifications

3+ years of structural or miscellaneous steel experience, including field installation.
Lead, foreman, or supervisor experience leading a crew.
Able to read and interpret erection drawings, shop drawings, and specifications.
Strong understanding of steel, connections, bolting, and field construction methods.
OSHA 10 certification.
Able to work at heights and in elevated work areas.
Ability to pass drug testing, background screening, and customer site access requirements

Responsibilities

Plan the field work: review erection drawings, shop drawings, and specs with the Project Manager; plan install sequence, crew size, equipment, and lifts needed.
Lead the install: rigging, setting, plumbing, leveling, bolting, field welding, and finish work.
Keep the crew safe: run daily PTP and JHA; enforce safety rules; ensure PPE and fall protection.
Get it right the first time: install to drawings and tolerances; document fixes with photos and causes.
Lead and document: complete daily reports, approve timecards, and mentor crew members.
Shop work between field jobs: fitters/welders in shop; prep kits and equipment for upcoming field jobs
