Job summary

Lexicon, Inc. seeks a skilled Foreman to supervise a shift and ensure timely, safe completion of structural steel projects. The role is designated as safety‑sensitive because improper duties could impact health and safety.

The Foreman will oversee the fabricating team, assist with tasks such as welding and fitting, manage payroll time sheets, and enforce the company safety program and QA/QC standards. Some travel and long hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience as a craftsman.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Must have good oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates the activities of a shift engaged in fabricating structural steel.
• Assist workers in performance of tasks, such as welding, fitting, etc.
