Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economics, accounting, business, finance or related field and required accounting coursework.
• Graduate coursework in accounting (9 semester hours) and introductory auditing (3 hours) required for qualifying education.
• CPA certification or equivalent is an accepted qualification option.
• Combination of education and experience to meet 100% qualification is allowed.

Responsibilities

• Examinations and audits of credit unions or financial institutions through detailed examination of accounting documents.
• Prepare or analyze financial statements to verify accuracy and GAAP compliance.
• Balance general ledger accounts and ensure transactions are properly supported and regulated.
