Job summary

The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) is currently hiring Credit Union Examiners at 24 locations across the United States. Examiners plan, conduct, and complete examinations of federally insured and federally chartered credit unions.

Examiners analyze data to identify areas of concern and risk to the NCUSIF. CU-7 and CU-9 positions are developmental, offering a structured training program with supervision and hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, business, or finance is required.
• Proficiency in information systems and technology is required.
• Strong written communication skills and interpersonal abilities are essential.
• Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and complete examinations of federally insured credit unions.
• Analyze credit union data to identify risk areas and compliance issues.
• Work under supervision in CU-7/9 developmental positions with an extensive training program.
