Job summary

Samaritan's Purse in Coppell, TX is seeking an Equipment Service Technician to support the NADR fleet and equipment operations. You will assist the Fleet Mechanic/Driver, travel to field sites, provide logistical support, and ensure safety and quality of work for staff and volunteers.

The role requires a CDL Class A, DOT Medical Card, and the ability to troubleshoot varied equipment. You will be based in Coppell, TX and may deploy on short notice to support deployments and project sites.

Qualifications

• Must obtain CDL Class A and a valid DOT Medical Card within one year of hire.
• High-School diploma or GED with one year related experience or training, or equivalent.
• Ability to troubleshoot a wide variety of equipment, including trucks, trailers, small tools and power tools.
• Ability to drive for extended periods and deploy on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate NADR's vehicle fleet and equipment.
• Travel to field sites to provide logistical support and tool management.
• Ensure safety and quality of work; document properly on checklists and work orders.
• Interact with volunteers, homeowners and staff.
• Other duties may be assigned.
