Mooring is seeking an Equipment Technician to deploy, operate, and maintain complex mechanical and electrical equipment for restoration and catastrophe response projects. This role emphasizes safe, efficient workmanship and professionalism in the field.

Based in the DFW area, you will travel as needed, support field teams, and uphold our safety standards while delivering top-tier service. A solid mechanical background and strong problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have basic mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of common hand/tools.
• Familiarity with schematics and electrical diagrams is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair complex mechanical and electrical equipment on a variety of rental tools and vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance on the Mooring USA fleet, including oil changes and inspections.
• Travel on short notice for weeks at a time to support emergency and restoration projects.
• Set up electrical distribution on site and monitor until the job is completed.
• Assist in training lower-level technicians and document work orders daily in FULLBAY.
• Handle pickup/delivery of equipment and parts; perform other duties as assigned.
