Sammons Industrial is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to keep material handling equipment running safely and reliably in customer sites around Houston. You’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain electric, LPG, gas, and diesel systems, perform inspections, troubleshoot, and rebuild components to manufacturer standards.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and 1+ year of forklift or related equipment repair experience.
• Strong customer service mindset and clear communication.
• High school diploma or GED; trade school or certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain material handling equipment including electric, LPG, gas, and diesel systems
• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and component rebuilds to manufacturer standards
• Work safely at customer sites by following proper blocking, chocking, and lockout procedures
• Document repairs, manage parts, and keep your work area clean and safe
