Job summary

Sammons Industrial is seeking a Service Technician I (Heavy Line) to diagnose, repair, and maintain material handling equipment in our shop and at customer sites. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic welding, while following DOT and OSHA safety practices.

A valid driver’s license and 1+ years of experience are required; ability to lift up to 75 lbs and bring your own tools is expected.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and 1+ years of equipment repair experience.
• Trade school or technician certification preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical work daily.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and rebuild engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, and lifting systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting; basic welding as needed.
• Follow safety practices, complete repair documentation, and manage parts and supplies.
• Participate in required technical training and interact with customers professionally.
