Job summary

Sammons Industrial in Irving, TX is hiring a technician to diagnose, service, and repair material handling equipment—engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, steering, and lift components—at customer sites or in the shop, ensuring equipment is safe, dependable, and ready to perform to our customers’ expectations.

You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and failure analysis, document all work, manage parts and tools, and keep a clean, safe work environment while following

Qualifications

• 1+ year forklift or related equipment repair experience.
• A safety-first mindset, solid communication skills, and pride in quality work.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to complete ongoing technical training.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair material handling equipment—engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, steering, and lift systems—at customer sites or in our shop.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and failure analysis to keep equipment running to spec.
• Document work completed, maintain parts and tools, and keep a clean, safe work environment.
