Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician in Maryland to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet, including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC and more. You will work with a safety‑focused team to keep equipment ready for job sites and minimize downtime.

The role requires 1–3 years of technician experience with diesel or heavy equipment, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1 to 3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems; ability to troubleshoot fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance and makes repairs on equipment.
• Works with a safety‑focused team and adaptable to changing priorities.
• Operation involves a variety of makes, models and equipment.
