Job summary

FinishWorks is seeking a mechanically inclined Equipment Technician to join our team at our Millersburg, OH location. You will diagnose, repair, and install coating application equipment, supporting customers and the sales team with expert solutions.

You will travel to customer sites, provide quotations, manage inventory, and identify opportunities to grow equipment sales. A strong mechanical background and customer-focused mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds with equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain customer-owned coating application equipment.
• Perform equipment repairs both in our facility and at customer locations.
• Assist customers and sales personnel with equipment-related questions and solutions.
• Travel to customer sites for installations, service calls, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Prepare equipment recommendations and quotations based on customer needs.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and assist with cycle counts.
• Identify opportunities to support customer growth and equipment sales.
