Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician 1 to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment in a safety-focused environment. The role involves working on diesel-powered equipment, aerial work platforms, and other machinery at locations across North America.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of technician experience, and knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1–3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment or heavy construction equipment strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems; troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Bilingual may be required based on location needs.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance and makes repairs on equipment in the safest, most effective way possible to avoid downtime.
