Galvion is seeking a Field Equipment Specialist to lead our Equipment Operations and global Kit Room network. You will manage equipment lifecycle, coordinate shipments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure demonstrations, evaluations, and trade shows are fully supported.

The role emphasizes planning, meticulous records, and a proactive, customer-focused approach to deliver mission-ready equipment worldwide. 20% travel between U.S. and international facilities is typical.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in equipment operations, logistics, product support, field support, military sustainment, or related operational discipline.
• Experience managing high-value equipment and assets through their lifecycle.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience with inventory, asset management, or reservation systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage Galvion's global Kit Room network, including Portsmouth, NH, Montreal, Canada, and Gdansk, Poland.
• Coordinate complete lifecycle of equipment—from acquisition to refurbishment and retirement.
• Maintain inventory, reservation, asset tracking, and utilization records.
• Prepare, configure, inspect, and package equipment for customer demos, evaluations, training, and trade shows.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments while complying with import/export regulations.
• Develop and improve standardized Equipment Operations processes, SOPs, and reporting.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Product Management, and Customer Support to ensure equipment availability.
• Support prototype evaluations, new product introductions, and strategic customer engagements.
• Drive continuous improvement to equipment accountability and asset utilization.

What You’ll Do

• Manage Galvion's global Kit Room network, including locations in Portsmouth, NH, Montreal, Canada, and Gdansk, Poland.
• Coordinate the complete lifecycle of demonstration, evaluation, training, and trade show equipment—from acquisition and deployment through refurbishment and retirement.
• Maintain accurate inventory, reservation, asset tracking, and utilization records.

• Partner with Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Engineering, Product Management, and Customer Support to ensure equipment is available when and where it’s needed.
• Support prototype evaluations, new product introductions, and strategic customer engagements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance equipment accountability, operational readiness, and asset utilization.

What You’ll Bring

• Five or more years of experience in equipment operations, logistics, product support, field support, military sustainment, or a related operational discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the defense, aerospace, tactical, or government sectors.
• Military service in an operational unit.

• Experience establishing or leading an equipment operations or demonstration asset management function.

Travel

Approximately 20% travel is required between U.S. and Canadian facilities and customer locations, with occasional international travel.
