Job summary
Minerals Technologies Inc. is seeking an Equipment Reliability Technician for remote US and travel to steel mills and Minteq shops.
This field role blends home-based work with on-site visits to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Minteq equipment such as Wire, Laser, Gunning, and Tundish systems. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent with Electrical Tech training; strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity and electronics; willingness to travel in the USA and
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and Electrical Tech Program completion.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity and electronics; proficiency with MS Office (Excel/Word).
Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Minteq equipment (Wire, Laser, Gunning, Tundish).
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs; read schematics/diagrams.
- Create service reports and commission new equipment.
- Operate independently; travel to steel mills and Minteq shops; on-call responsibilities.
- Assist in administrative/record keeping; ensure customer satisfaction.
