Job summary

Minteq International is seeking a Steel Mill Service Representative to service multiple locations in the NW Indiana/Illinois/Wisconsin/Iowa region. The role involves maintenance, troubleshooting, and on-call support with a company vehicle provided for travel.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and strong technical skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, and electronics. Expect on-site work with occasional travel and a focus on customer satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity and electronics.
• Outstanding technical and mechanical abilities; leadership and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of all equipment, including the Minscan, standard dry guns, wire feeders, mixer, pumps, motors.
• Read schematics and diagrams.
• Operate independently and supervise self during shift; communicate with management.
• Assist in administrative/record keeping functions; maintain Minscan record keeping.
• Assist in training and development of new employees; promote safety awareness.
