Job summary

Centuri Construction Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled mechanic to maintain and repair construction vehicles and heavy equipment at our Orange County area sites.

You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose electrical issues, coordinate with operations, and provide after-hours support as needed. Ideal candidates have a High School diploma and knowledge of construction equipment, with existing CDL or willingness to obtain Class A.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• General knowledge of construction related equipment.
• Existing CDL or ability/willingness to obtain Class A CDL.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of small engines, both gas and diesel.
• Perform preventative maintenance work, such as checking oil and fluid levels on all equipment.
• Maintain inventory records on repairs made, parts ordered, and part inventories.
• Coordinate work with operations and maintains communication for scheduling repairs and PMs.
• Provide after-hours support for critical timelines when needed.
• Diagnose and correct electrical problems.
• Use of pneumatic tools for construction equipment.
• Perform other tasks as requested by leadership.
