Job summary

Centuri is seeking a qualified mechanic to maintain and repair construction vehicles and large equipment. The role requires performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing electrical issues, and coordinating scheduling with operations.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, knowledge of construction equipment, and either hold a CDL or be willing to obtain Class A CDL. Work is outdoors, safety-focused, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• General knowledge of construction related equipment.
• Existing CDL or ability/willingness to obtain Class A CDL.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of small engines, both gas and diesel
• Perform preventative maintenance work, such as checking oil and fluid levels on all equipment
• Maintain inventory records on repairs made, parts ordered, and part inventories
• Coordinate work with operations and maintains communication for scheduling repairs and PMs
• Provide after-hours support for critical timelines when needed
• Diagnose and correct electrical problems
• Use of pneumatic tools for construction equipment
• Perform other tasks as requested by leadership
