Job summary

QED Systems, LLC seeks a New Equipment Installer (Technician) to support PM PNT efforts. This remote role requires extensive travel and clearance, with installation and troubleshooting of PNT systems on military vehicles across various locations.

Applicants should have high school credentials and 4+ years testing electronic equipment, including 2+ years on military subsystem installations. Active Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Prior experience in the maintenance of Abrams, Bradley, JLTV, HEMMT, FMTV, and HMMWVs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides field support services related to the installation, troubleshooting and repair of systems and subsystems.
• Installs PNT systems on combat vehicles ( Abrams, Bradley, JLTV, HEMMT, FMTV, HMMWV ).
• Facilitates higher level repair of equipment.
• Ensures support equipment and tools are calibrated and maintained.
• Troubleshoots related product malfunctions; installs, modifies, wires, fabricates and maintains systems.
• Distinguishes between hardware and software problems during equipment checks.
