Qualifications

• 4 yrs. trg. or 4 yrs. exp. in geology or hydrology, engineering, chemistry, physics, biology, environmental science or other related fields with responsibility for compliance monitoring, inspections or investigations.
• Bachelor-level qualification in related fields with duties commensurate with the role.

Responsibilities

• Prepares project narratives, proposals, and documents to obtain state/federal funding for AML projects.
• Conducts AML complaint/investigations and site assessments for eligibility.
• Coordinates field activities with consultants to ensure NEPA compliance.
• Conducts/coordinates field reviews to ensure work follows contract plans and specs.
• Performs chemical sampling, interprets data, and operates AMD treatment systems.
• May require travel.
