ERM is seeking a Consultant, Science/Engineering to support demolition, decontamination, and remediation projects across North America. You will collect data prior to field execution, manage asbestos and lead sampling, and oversee contractor work to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes project coordination, cost estimation, and liaison between field teams and ERM Project Managers, with travel across the United States. Base pay ranges from $74,250 to $103,128 USD annually.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Certified Asbestos Inspector (state licensed).
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Collect building material, air, and noise samples and interpret data.
• Perform asbestos and lead-based paint inspections as required for projects.
• Provide day-to-day oversight of contractors and field staff to ensure safety and compliance.
• Review submittals such as RFIs, change orders, and compliance documentation.
• Act as Field Safety Officer and develop site Health & Safety Plans.
