Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related science field; 1–3 years experience may substitute for a degree.
• HAZWOPER certification or ability to obtain within weeks of hire.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Be available for extended travel and emergency response upon client request.
• Maintain, calibrate and mobilize equipment for emergency response.
• Collect and analyze samples from potential contamination sources.
• Perform monitoring and sampling using prescribed methods.
• Compile and summarize scientific data and literature for client reports.
• Complete 40-hour HAZWOPER training within three weeks of hire.
• Obtain DISA and TWIC clearances within three months.
• Adhere to all safety requirements within one month; perform other duties as assigned.
