Job summary

APTIM in Lawrenceville, NJ seeks an Environmental Scientist for a full-time role blending fieldwork with client-facing reporting. You will perform asbestos, lead, mold, air, and soil sampling, and write final reports for diverse projects.

Travel up to five days monthly with occasional longer stays; remote work possible when feasible. Requires AHERA asbestos credentials and ability to work in industrial facilities, plus strong communication and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or related area required.
• 5+ years of related work experience.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Site sampling for asbestos, lead, mold, air, water, soil, and IH services.
• Prepare and write final reports for clients.
• Interface with client facility personnel and management.
• Support field/office integration and project scheduling.
• Travel up to 5 days per month; potential longer stays.
