Job summary

Langan is seeking a Staff Environmental Engineer, Scientist, or Geologist to join its Irvine, CA team. The role involves site exploration, contaminated site investigation, remediation, sampling, vapor intrusion studies, and reporting as part of a diverse environmental portfolio.

Responsibilities include field inspections, sampling of air/soil/groundwater, data management, and collaboration with supervision. A Bachelor’s in a related field with 1+ years’ experience and EIT/FE status is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• 1+ years of work-related experience.
• EIT Certification or FE registration preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections and environmental investigations.
• Conduct air, soil, gas, groundwater sampling and remediation of contaminated properties.
• Assist with planning and execution of field investigations and data collection.
• Perform calculations and data processing.
• Oversee remediation activities and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Prepare technical reports and plans; manage data and evaluations.
