Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or Geology.
• 0–2 years of work-related experience; internship preferred.
• EIT or GIT certification, or current registration for the exam, preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections and environmental investigations;
• Perform air, soil, gas, groundwater sampling and remediation of contaminated properties;
• Assist with planning and execution of field investigations; log borings, collect samples, perform field tests, record data; perform calculations.
• Field oversight of remediation activities and subcontractors; ensure compliance with specs.
• Identify and implement solutions; document results; communicate with supervisor about problems.
• Assist with preparation of technical reports, specifications, plans, data management and evaluation; environmental assessment and remediation;
• Perform other duties as requested.
