Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC seeks a Plant Environmental Specialist to join the site EHS team at a large union manufacturing facility in Michigan. Must have at least 2 years of plant environmental experience and a Bachelor of Science in a related technical field.

The role focuses on managing environmental issues, regulatory reports and permits with emphasis on water/wastewater/stormwater compliance or waste/SPCC/Chemical Management. Reports to the Plant EHS Manager and supports compliance activities.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of plant environmental experience.
• Bachelor of Science in related technical field required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain processes and systems to ensure compliance with permits and regulation.
• Coach and mentor line personnel in the execution of their environmental accountabilities.
• Compile and submit required environmental reports to Federal, State and Local Regulatory Agencies.
• Coordinate all Environmental sampling, reporting and follow-up;
• Preparation and submission of required reports and associated recordkeeping.
