Clean Harbors is seeking an Environmental Field Chemist to handle, segregate, pack, and inspect chemical waste at plants, labs, and customer sites. This is a non-lab based, customer-facing role requiring travel to client sites daily and a Class B CDL within 6 months of hire.

Pay ranges from $25 to $28 per hour with overtime, with benefits after 30 days. The position is part of Clean Harbors Technical Services, providing waste disposal, HHW services, and chemical packing across multiple

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• CDL Class B with hazmat and tanker endorsement within 6 months.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to pass background check, drug test and physical.
• OSHA respiratory protection standards compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety are top priority in all tasks.
• Prepare packing lists, labels, and disposal notifications.
• Inspect storage areas, drums, and labeling for compliance.
• Package waste chemicals for disposal and maximize efficiency.
• Perform work at customer locations and with Fortune 500 clients.
