GreyStone Power Corporation seeks a Field Engineering Technician I based in Hiram, GA. This role designs and coordinates line extensions for new residential service, procures permits and rights-of-way, and supports crews on outages in line with EMC, NESC and DOT standards.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years in construction management or drafting; an Associate degree in electrical engineering is preferred.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years in construction management, drafting, utility experience.
• Associate degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Prefers one year staking or related experience.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD to prepare DOT permits and specifications.
• Ability to read company mapping systems and prepare legal documents.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, design, and coordinate line extensions for residential service.
• Procure permits, easements, and right-of-way as required.
• Interact with developers, property owners, and regulators to obtain easements.
• Create overhead and underground specifications in AutoCAD.
• Adhere to EMC, NESC, and governing regulations and practices.
• Assist crews during outages and during storms as needed.
• Create 811 locate tickets and manage project data.
