Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with drafting and construction management is a plus.
• Ability to operate AutoCAD to prepare permits and specifications.
• Familiarity with GreyStone Power service territory and mapping system.
• Proficiency with engineering software within six months.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and coordinate line extensions for residential developments.
• Procure permits, easements, and ROW documents (D.O.T., railroad, county).
• Interact with property owners, developers, and attorneys to obtain rights of way.
• Prepare overhead/underground construction drawings in AutoCAD.
• Ensure compliance with NESC, EMC policies, and RUS requirements.
• Coordinate with construction crews and respond to outages during emergencies.
• Create locate tickets through the 811 system.
