Job summary

L3Harris is seeking a Senior Specialist, Field Engineering to join our team. The role involves installing, configuring, and testing communications equipment at FAA facilities, leading in removal and checkout of fielded systems, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with communications equipment, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Extensive travel to FAA sites is required, with OT as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/EE/ME or equivalent.
• Graduate degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• In lieu of a degree, 10+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Remove, install, configure, and test communications equipment at FAA facilities.
• Perform system troubleshooting to ensure optimal operation of the system.
• Interpret installation drawings and specifications with engineering teams.
