Job summary

ManpowerGroup, acting on behalf of its client, seeks a Field Engineering Manager in St. Francisville, LA to lead field teams, ensure high-quality installations, and guide technical execution across multiple active projects.

You will analyze drawings, specs, and scope documents to validate constructability and manage technical risks. The role requires 5+ years in field engineering or related environments, strong knowledge of low-voltage systems and structured cabling, and excellent communication

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in field engineering, construction, or technical project support within data center, telecommunications, or infrastructure environments.
• Strong knowledge of low-voltage systems, structured cabling, and critical infrastructure environments.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Excellent collaboration, organizational, and documentation capabilities to manage multiple projects effectively.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical resource for field teams across multiple active projects, ensuring successful execution and installation quality.
• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and scope documents to validate constructability, identify risks, and ensure technical accuracy.
• Provide guidance and technical support to Field Superintendents, Foremen, and Leads throughout project execution.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, customers, and stakeholders on technical clarifications, revisions, and design changes.
• Support testing, system validation, commissioning activities, and project turnover processes to ensure operational readiness.
