Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking a Field Engineer to join our Industrial team in Council Hill, OK. This role supports field supervision and coordination with subcontractors while traveling as project needs dictate.

It is an excellent stepping stone toward becoming a Superintendent in the future. Responsibilities include assisting in project planning, schedule updates, and cost reporting, as well as maintaining equipment, tools, and site organization.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a project/field engineer or related internship
• Industry-related degree or coursework is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising field work
• Support project planning and schedule updates
• Assist Superintendent with pre-construction meetings
• Maintain tools and materials on site
• Support site logistics and cleanup
• Maintain cost reporting and respond to RFIs
• Monitor field performance across subcontractors, employees, and costs
• Read and update project schedules with the Superintendent
