Job summary

PACK Power, LLC is seeking a site-based Construction Oversight professional in Spearville, KS to monitor substation construction activities, inspect materials, ensure compliance with drawings and specs, and mentor craft staff.

You will maintain logs, manage submittals, perform basic surveying, and coordinate QA/QC with client teams while supporting project managers. A per diem, monthly vehicle allowance, and regular travel home accompany base compensation.

Qualifications

• Requires understanding of construction safety policies and procedures.
• Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred; experience in construction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
• Oversee daily substation construction activities and inspect work quality.
• Verify construction aligns with design documents and review inspection reports.
• Maintain logs for materials, testing/inspection, concrete, and non-conformances.
• Manage submittals to match specs and schedules.
• Perform basic surveying and verify line, grade, and dimensions.
• Document and report daily progress and deficiencies.
• Coordinate with client QA/QC staff to meet standards.
