Job summary

Graham Construction, a 3G Company in the Cedar Rapids area, is seeking a Field Engineer to grow with our commercial construction team. You will learn building fundamentals on active projects, support field leaders, and contribute to delivering quality work safely and on time.

On-site collaboration with superintendents and foremen, assisting with project budgeting, procurements, RFIs, and submittals, and participating in installation verification meetings will be part of your early career

• Work with superintendent and foreman to learn building fundamentals and codes.
• Aid superintendent and project manager with project budgeting, bidding, buyouts, procurement log, RFIs, and certifications of occupancies.
• Provides input in Pre and 1st Installation Verification meetings with trade partners.
• Complete procurement log and submittals in a timely manner.

A day in the life of a Field Engineer at Graham Construction, a 3G Company:

This is a position that plays an important role in our construction projects. Based on a construction project site, they assist through all the life-cycles of a project by supporting and learning from field leaders. They help encourage and drive our safety culture.

Job Title: Field Engineer

Reports to: Field Resource Leader

Purpose:

The purpose of this job project is to learn the fundamentals of building and assist the project team to ensure quality work is performed in a timely and cost-effective manner.

What you'll do:
