Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Self-Perform Work (SPW) field engineer to coordinate SPW activities, ensuring solutions meet project objectives and quality standards. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to resolve field challenges and improve operations.

With 2–4 years in SPW field engineering or construction management, you will support planning, documentation, safety, and productivity while collaborating with project teams to achieve successful outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred.
  • 2–4 years SPW field engineering or construction management experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Support SPW activities through planning and execution per project specs.
  • Coordinate with SPW crews and project teams to maintain workflow.
  • Collect and organize technical documents like timesheets and reports.
  • Identify productivity and quality issues and assist in corrective actions.
  • Communicate field updates to project leaders and crews.

Job Summary:

Participates in the coordination and execution of a Self-Perform Work (SPW) scope field operations activities, ensuring technical solutions meet project objectives and quality standards. Works with multidisciplinary teams, including SPW crews and project teams, to help resolve field challenges specific to SPW activities and improve field operations. Contributes to SPW project outcomes by helping resolve field related questions and issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assists with technical planning and execution of SPW activities, ensuring tasks comply with project specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Coordinates with SPW crews and project teams to help resolve general technical issues and support steady workflow and timely project delivery.
  • Assists with collecting and organizing technical documents related to SPW activities, including crew timesheets, daily production reports, and material usage logs, to help ensure project information is accurate and current.
  • Identifies SPW productivity and quality issues, and assists crew supervision in finding solutions and correcting issues.
  • Communicates SPW-related field updates to project leaders and crew members to ensure everyone is informed about changes, progress, or issues affecting SPW activities.
Education Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in construction management, engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
Work Experience:
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in SPW field engineering, construction management, or a related field required.
Certifications and Licenses:
  • OSHA 30‑Hour Construction preferred.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Program Completion within 6 months of hire is required.
  • ASHE, CHC, or relevant market certification preferred.
