Job summary

Commercial Metals is seeking a Civil/Geotechnical engineering professional to support Tensar Engineered Solutions on job sites. You will participate in installation oversight, pre-construction and progress meetings, and post-construction interviews to ensure design objectives are met and performance aligns with expectations.

You will document progress, deliver daily reports, and provide data-driven site assessments using DCP or other methods.

Qualifications

• Civil or Geotechnical Engineering background preferred.
• Strong communication and technical presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel regionally 25–50%.
• Leadership to focus, prioritize and match skills to tasks.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations.

Responsibilities

• Represent Tensar Engineered Solutions on assigned jobsites during installation and ensure installation is as designed.
• Attend pre-construction and progress meetings with project stakeholders.
• Conduct post-construction interviews to confirm design objectives and performance.
• Document progress, submit daily progress reports, and provide feedback to engineers and sales managers.
• Provide site assessment using DCP and other methods for Tensar solutions data.
• Assist Area Engineer with technical support for the sales team including design software, reports, and submittals.
