Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Field Engineer to support front-line field management on large commercial projects in the Southwest, focused on a semiconductor campus. The role involves field layout, coordination with trade partners, safety, and quality control, with time spent both in the field and field office.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year FE/PE experience in commercial construction and a 4-year degree in civil/structural/architecture/construction management, plus proficiency in ProjectSight,

Qualifications

• 1 year of FE/PE experience in commercial construction.
• 4-year degree in Civil/Structural/Architecture or Construction Management.
• Experience with construction management and field engineering on commercial projects (semiconductor or data center).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform project layout and surveying per design documents.
• Verify concrete forms for accuracy before placement.
• Produce production trend analyses for quantities of work in place and costs.
• Support safety and quality control initiatives on site.
• Coordinate trade partners and oversee field crews as needed.
• Plan material deliveries and check availability against requirements.
• Interpret plans and clarify design intent for teams.
• Interact with VDC on scope and execution plans and model coordination.
• Support project delivery in field and office environments.
