FloVision is seeking a Field Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve hardware systems powering our computer vision products. You will work directly with customers and engineering teams across the United States and abroad, with substantial travel and hands-on hardware work.

We value self-driven, inquisitive engineers who can develop practical field solutions and contribute to product design, manufacturing, and R&D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation Engineering, or related field.
• At least four years of experience in automation, controls, field engineering, or related industrial environments.
• Hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, including installing, commissioning, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, with tools like multimeters and power tools.
• Experience programming and troubleshooting PLC and HMI systems.
• SolidWorks or CAD software experience and ability to read/create drawings, BOMs, schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.

Responsabilités

• Travel to domestic and international customer sites to scope, install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment.
• Perform on-site mechanical and electrical maintenance, emergency repairs, and fault-finding.
• Build strong customer relationships and represent FloVision professionally.
• Turn recurring field problems into scalable hardware improvements and collaborate on product design and R&D.
• Create and modify mechanical and full-system designs using SolidWorks or CAD tools.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including site findings and service records.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, vendors, and fabricators for installations and repairs.
• Identify and implement internal process improvements using AI and digital tools.
